Dr Christian Bronner is Group Leader of the Angiogenesis and Epigenetics group in the research laboratory CNRS UMR 7175 at the University Louis Pasteur’s Faculty of Pharmacy, located in Illkirch, France. He is a cellular and molecular biologist working in the area of cancer.
Dr Bronner has written extensively in the area of genetic and epigenetics (Nature, Cancer Research, Oncogene…). He discovered the human UHRF1 gene that is now known to play a fundamental role in the epigenetic code inheritance.
In 2003, he founded Proteogenix, Inc. (France), a biotechnology company, aimed to develop biological tools for cancer diagnosis.
