Survey results indicate authors and readers endorse article usage metrics

A recent survey conducted by Libertas indicates that readers and authors view article usage metrics as more meaningful than journal impact factors.  88.2 percent of those surveyed either agreed or strongly agreed that article usage metrics are more meaningful than journal impact factors.  The other 11.8 percent were neutral, with no responses recorded for the other two options: "dis...
