Libertas recently announced its innovative ebook publishing service.
Like our journals, our ebook publishing service is designed to combine the high quality standards of established book publishers with the efficiency, speed and cost advantages offered by new internet-based technology.
Each ebook receives a customised project plan including professional manuscript preparation services, ebook cover design and conversion to Amazon Kindle ebook format. All of these services are provided by our specialist contractors while Libertas provides a full project management service. To maintain high editorial standards ebooks are promptly, efficiently and constructively peer reviewed.
After each ebook is published it will be professionally and reputably promoted using only opt-ed in email lists and our extensive social media channels. Optionally, prior to publication our SEO consultant will advise on the best possible ebook title to maximise ebook search engine visibility.
What does it cost?
Publishing an ebook with authors costs nothing. Our production costs are recovered from ebook sales revenue, and once our costs are recovered 50% of sales revenue will be shared with the authors.

Sequencing and Computing for Microbial IdentificationI must say publishing with Evolutionary Bioinformatics was a great and partially unexpected experience. It allowed me to understand the name 'Libertas Academica' is not just a name but a real issue. The reviewers offered us stringent, rigorous but totally unprejudiced comments, the editor supported us and the paper visibility was very good. Thank you again.
All authors are surveyed after their articles are published. Authors are asked to rate their experience in a variety of areas, and their responses help us to monitor our performance. Presented here are their responses in some key areas. No 'poor' or 'very poor' responses were received; these are represented in the 'other' category.See Our Results
