Articles published in open access journals like Gene Expression to Genetical Genomics are likely to receive more citations and a higher level of visibility than articles published in restricted access journals.
Libertas’ goal is to maximize visibility for all articles published in Gene Expression to Genetical Genomics and articles in the journal have been viewed more than 11,337 times since 2008. In addition to this, articles have been downloaded in excess of 3,660 times and the most popular article in the journal has over 2,280 views.
Statistics like this show that all articles published in Libertas’ open access journals achieve a high level of visibility.
