Articles published in open access journals like Genomics Insights are likely to receive more citations and a higher level of visibility than articles published in restricted access journals.
Libertas’ goal is to maximize visibility for all articles published in Genomics Insights and articles in the journal have been viewed more than 36,450 times since 2008. In addition to this, articles have been downloaded in excess of 13,841 times and the most popular article in the journal has over 2,832 views.
Statistics like this show that all articles published in Libertas’ open access journals achieve a high level of visibility.
