Articles published in open access journals like Journal of Cell Death are likely to receive more citations and a higher level of visibility than articles published in restricted access journals.
Libertas’ goal is to maximize visibility for all articles published in Journal of Cell Death and articles in the journal have been viewed more than 35,739 times since 2008. In addition to this, articles have been downloaded in excess of 14,391 times and the most popular article in the journal has over 3,401 views.
